GIVE THEM A CHANCE. How many interviews, summer jobs, part-time jobs, internships, scholarships, even actual jobs have you gotten because you knew someone who knew someone? Remember when you got to do that awesome thing because your mom called your aunt who called her friend who called her boss? Help to build that web of support for someone who doesn't have one built-in.
